General

Marcus Restaurant has one Michelin star, sitting proudly as one of London’s best fine dining restaurants.

Craig Johnston is the Head Chef at Marcus. He joined the team after winning Masterchef: The Professionals in 2017, starting as a senior chef de partie. Over the last four years, he has worked his way up to Head Chef.

Marcus is open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner.

12pm-2:30pm for lunch

6pm-10pm for dinner

We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Marcus is located in the five-star Berkeley Hotel, in Belgravia. Our closest Underground station is Hyde Park Corner, but we are also within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of Knightsbridge and Green Park.

Yes, we operate a waiting list for all services. If your preferred date and time is unavailable, please submit a request via Sevenrooms and we will add you to our waiting list. We will get in touch should a table become available.

We operate on a 24-hour cancellation policy for our main dining room. We ask for card details to secure your reservation, but no charges will be made unless you cancel or move your booking within 24 hours of the reservation. For any cancellation within the 24-hour period, there is an automatic charge of £50 per person. To cancel your reservation, please use the cancellation link contained within the confirmation email or call us on 020 7235 1200.

Marcus doesn’t impose a formal dress code, but kindly asks no sportswear.

Yes, PDF vouchers are available to purchase from our Gifts page. We also sell signed copies of Marcus’ cookbooks.

In the interest of all our guests, we are unable to accommodate babies and young children aged six and under.

The hotel offers valet parking for £8.50 an hour, or £55 a day. There is also metered parking around the hotel, or a NCP Car Park a 10-minute walk away.

Marcus doesn’t have a separate bar, but The Berkeley Hotel has a number of bars you can visit prior or after your visit to Marcus. The Blue Bar, to the left of the lobby entrance, specialises in carefully crafted cocktails, while The Berkeley Bar & Terrace offers a wide range of spirits and wines. Our a la carte menu is available across every service, except Saturday evenings.

Our three-course Michelin-starred lunch menu is available across every lunch service, Tuesday-Saturday.

Our Michelin-starred tasting menus include either five or seven courses and are available across all services.

Our lamb comes from a halal supplier, and we recommend our guests enjoy our fish or vegetarian options.

Yes, with advance notice, we can accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free. Please ensure you inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking or prior to your visit.

We usually suggest allowing for three hours for a tasting menu experience at Marcus.

Private Dining

Yes, we have two private dining spaces at Marcus. Our Chef’s Table offers a front-row seat to all the kitchen action, while our Private Dining Room is a completely private space off the main dining room.

We welcome reservations of 6-10 people at our Chef’s Table, considered one of London’s best private dining experiences.

Our London private dining room, known as The Salon, seats up to 16 guests.
